FREELANCING
I love to write – I always have. As a small child, writing was my escape, and I continue to love taking pen to paper (or blinking cursor to word document — though I’ll always prefer the real deal!)
As a freelance writer, I love partnering with organizations and their people who are in need of written pieces. I spend time learning who your organization is, what you need and exactly how I can support you.
- As with consulting, pricing depends upon the project’s size and scope, as I prefer to work on a project-based fee versus an hourly rate.
- Project fees begin at $100.
EDITING
This writer loves to edit. Truly.
But more than that, I love working with folks who are in need of assistance to edit or complete their dissertation or thesis process. I work within APA style and can do everything from Microsoft Word formatting (it’s a BEAST) to editing for content and grammar.

SPEAKING
If writing is my favorite professional activity, speaking is a close second! I love getting in front of an audience and sharing a message. I have facilitated workshops for groups of 15 people and delivered key note addresses to many, many more…and everything in between!

WEDDING DAY-OF COORDINATING
I. Love. Doing. Weddings. I know…it’s so odd!! Organization, logistics, communication, managing conflict, critical thinking and problem solving are skills you must master in my day-to-day field of communications strategy…day of wedding coordinating requires the same skills.
And after doing my best friend’s sister’s wedding a few years back, I realized I was good at this — and really, really enjoyed it. There’s something about seeing someone’s vision come to life that’s really significant (it’s the same reason I love editing dissertations and theses!)
So, let me help you – I would LOVE it!
- Pricing is dependent upon what a bride is needing, but for both rehearsal management and a full day (12+ hours) of day-of coordinating, packages begin at $1,000.
