Leslie Adelman is President of Mentor Prize, a connection tool that recruits mentors and matches them with Washington D.C. area mentoring programs serving disadvantaged individuals, sat down with me at the 2017 MENTOR Summit to discuss the work she and her organization are doing. Adelman spoke about the “Mentor Prize Solution,” an innovative approach that removes the recruitment burden from direct service organizations in the D.C. area. With 20 support organizations, Mentor Prize matches mentors with organization who serve a very diverse population of mentees.
